Jaguar has manufactured some truly amazing cars. Many of them have become icons. The company has not limited its capability to racing cars. It has produced an impressive number of vehicles designed to tear up the roads in Philadelphia while providing a comfortable ride.
Four Classics
Jaguar in Philadelphia has created many classic models over the years. Below are four.
E-Type: This is easily the most iconic car ever made by this company. Between 1961 and 1975, it captivated designers and drivers alike. The E-type attracted everyone with its gorgeous looks, sleekness and speed. It was different and a marvel to behold that could travel at a speed of 150mph.
XJR-X300: The XJR-X300 was menacing. Cloaked in absolute luxury, it was supercharged and ready to take on any road, cranking up to 155mph.
D-Type: Between 1954-1957, this car became one of the first Jaguars to integrate aerodynamic engineering and design to produce a high-performance and stable car. The distinctive rear-side fin made it stand out from a crowd of face-paced, racing-geared cars.
XJR-V8: In 1997, this vehicle became a symbol of both power and style. These were vehicles that delivered grace, speed and luxury in one package. The sound system may be loud, but the ride was quiet.
Buying a Classic
If you have the money and the inclination, you can come to own a Classic Jaguar. It may not be easy. Some models are more difficult to obtain in Philadelphia than others. Yet, in the end, the problems encountered are worth it.
